Suzann Marie (Peiffer) Judge passed away Sunday, January 19th, 2020 surrounded by her family at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines.
A visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Des Moines with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will be served immediately following Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial taking place later that afternoon at the Melrose Cemetery in Melrose.

Suzann's Life Story
Suzann Marie was one of twin girls born to Frank and Leona Peiffer on August 3, 1936 in Keota, Iowa. Now, eighty-three years later, she has left this earth a better place. The ripples of her kindness and wisdom will be felt forever.
Suzann graduated from Keota High School in 1954, and then attended nursing school at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa. She worked as a registered nurse for several hospitals and nursing homes throughout her career before moving on to become CEO of Bob’s Tools in Des Moines.
Suzann married Robert Judge in Keota on June 28, 1958, and they had four children. She loved her family, friends and her faith while keeping busy quilting, sewing, painting and puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Maryann Dunn, children Jeff (Dana) Judge, Jim (Rhonda) Judge, David (Cheri) Judge and Ann (Glenn) Van Treeck; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Robert "Bob" Lee Judge
MAY 13, 1930 ~ DECEMBER 2, 2018 (AGE 88)
Bob Judge, of Des Moines, died peacefully at home with his family on Sunday afternoon, December 2, 2018.
A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, December 7th followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Des Moines. Memorial Contributions can be made to Mercy Hospice.

Bob's Life Story
Robert Lee "Bob" was born in Janesville, Wisconsin on May 13, 1930, to Christopher and Selma (Peterson) Judge. He was raised in Melrose, Iowa and graduated from Melrose High School. He served four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Bob later was a conductor for the Rock Island Railroad. In 1981, he opened Bob’s Tools, a family business still open today. In his free time, he enjoyed many hobbies; playing cards, gardening, quail hunting, water skiing, golfing, shuffle board, and dancing. He skillfully applying the same dance move to every song! Bob and Suzann enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona, where Bob reigned as “The Shuffle Board King”, honed his golf game, and hiked several mountains. Surviving Bob is his wife, Suzann; four children, Jeff (Dana), Jim (Rhonda), David (Cheri), and Ann (Glenn) Van Treeck; a brother, Bill (Virginia); a sister-in-law, Nancy; 11 grandchildren, Adam, Chris, Casey, Bob, Ben, Janssen, Josh, Luke, Jacob, Claire, and Joe; 9 great-grandchildren; and a of host nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chris.
